The poster session provides the opportunity for one-on-one conversations about research projects and their application to the challenges faced by industry.

Posters must be set up by 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 14 and be taken down on Tuesday, June 16 before noon. Please be present at your poster during the conference poster sessions.

Application deadline: May 1, 2015

Example:
A new system for measuring the ultrasonic properties of CO2 saturated fluids. A. Rabbani, University of Alberta; R. Kofman, University of Alberta; and D. R. Schmitt, University of Alberta.
Recent ultrasonic measurements with pulse-transmission method for a fully  CO2 saturated sample over a variety of temperatures and pressures representative of subsurface conditions show the influence of the rate of change of temperature on CO2 liquid-vapor phase change. Acoustic properties of CO2 under various temperature and pressure conditions are useful studies in order to develop theoretical modeling of these observed responses using theories that includes the CO2 properties more fully.

Cash prizes offered

Prizes of $250, $350 and $500 will be given to winners selected by a panel of experts.
